Nurses and Staff
Nurses Berkshire Hematology Oncology nurses are compassionate, patient oriented, and highly skilled in providing treatment and care. They are experts in preparing and administering chemotherapy, and will strive to ensure patient comfort. Most of our nurses are oncology certified, and all are committed to continuing education. Through professional and, in some cases personal, experience, BHO nurses have unique and valuable insight into the physical, emotional and psychological challenges of dealing with a difficult illness. They treat patients and their families with respect, concern and a genuine desire to provide assistance and counsel. Our nurses provide comprehensive education and support to cancer patients, their families and the communities in which they live. Technicians and administrative staff A primary goal of the technicians and administrative staff is to make each visit to BHO as smooth and as pleasant as possible for each patient and family member. Like the physicians and nurses, they are committed to our patients’ well being. They are here to make sure you get the best treatment available, whether it’s a warm smile, or a cold, refreshing soda, or state-of-the-art chemotherapy— or all of the above. |
