Berkshire Hematology Oncology (BHO) is dedicated to comprehensive medical oncology care, treating patients with cancer of all types and in all stages. Though we are located in bucolic western Massachusetts, we are committed to providing expertise, technology and patient care on par with that of leading cancer institutions in the United States. We employ the most advanced therapies available. We treat our patients with respect, dignity and a high degree of personal attention, recognizing that a person who has been diagnosed with cancer needs more than specialized medical expertise. Patients and their families deserve compassionate care and informative conversation. For nearly three decades, we have actively participated in cutting-edge clinical research into the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. Through our many clinical trials, we are engaged in cooperative, large-scale efforts to improve the effectiveness of cancer treatments. BHO's four physicians are all board certified in internal medicine as well as medical oncology and/or hematology. The practice consists of three facilities in Berkshire County: in Pittsfield, North Adams and Great Barrington. Patient services include infusion, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology and clinical research. |
